Halloween Celebrations Are Back in Metro Phoenix
October 7, 2019
The Metro Phoenix Area offers many Halloween attractions for guests of all ages.
The Phoenix Zoo’s Howl-o-ween event has eight friendly Halloween haunts and seven scary mazes catering to families with children of all ages. Howl-o-ween is open October 25th-26th and operates from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.
Over in Mesa, Golfland Sunsplash’s Spooktacular mini golf gives visitors the chance to experience their Halloween-themed 18-hole courses. The family-oriented activities are included with general admission and begin at sundown. The park is opened from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Guests looking for a kid-friendly attraction should check out Legoland Discovery Center’s Brick-or-Treat event, which allows visitors to experience Halloween the Lego way. Located in the Arizona Mills mall, the Brick-or-Treat event will give guests the opportunity to build their own Lego pumpkin as well as a life-size Dracula statue. The event has many dates in October and offers discount tickets online.
For those seeking a true Halloween thrill, Phoenix’s Fear Farm offers six individually themed mazes as well as a compilation of escape rooms and carnival games. Because of the potential extreme scares, Fear Farm recommends guests be at least 12 or older. The attraction is active throughout October with different price points per day with tickets available online.
