Student Veterans Have a New Space Within CAC

Andrew Hage

CAC opened a 1,000 square foot Veterans Center at Signal Peak campus on Thursday August 29th, 2019. The center provides Veterans with a place to meet other vets and gather resources. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 1000-1600 hours.

Located in the M building, this private area offers our student veterans a quiet place to study, hang out, exchange stories, or just embrace the military theme of the space. No ID is required for entry.

It has a kitchen, cable-ready television, couches, study spaces, boosted Wi-Fi, and military reading materials and is operated by student veteran assistants. Stop in and see either Dennis Adams (Army) or Katarina Rodriguez (Army) if you have any questions.

Support Education & Employment for Vets (S.E.E.4VETS) contributed to this project. Donations to the center are welcome. Please visit or contact Elizabeth Barrett, Military/Veterans School Certifying Official at (520)-494-5517 and elizabeth.barrett@centralaz.edu to find out how you can donate.
