Rocktacular

Signal Peak students caused a musical commotion at the Signal Peak campus. Central Arizona’s Rocktacular was held on the green at noon on Wednesday, March 8th. The talented students who performed were Schuyler Morgan, Marcus Snell, Julian Monserrat, and Matt “Rusty” Higgs (Pyrite Kings). The performing pupils radiated a high energy concert, with powerful vocals, energized dancing, and unique chord progressions.

The students performed like true professionals, cracking jokes, interacting with the audience, and dancing like they were the only ones there. A variety of songs were played, ranging from funk, to Disney, to rock; some were covers, some were originals; some were loud, some were soft. It was interesting seeing the performers personalities shine through their lyrics and melodies. Whether it was a solo artist, a duet, or a trio, there was a constant presence of unity among the performers. Between sets, it was obvious that they had immense support for one another.
Composers and rock-stars alike, they all share a love for music that was truly visible to anyone that attended the show. A round of applause must be given for the hard work that had gone into making Rocktacular happen. Congrats on a successful show.
