Culture Pass
February 13, 2017
Need something to do, but don’t have a lot of money to do it with? Head on over to the Maricopa Public Library, located at 41600 W. Smith-Enke Rd, Maricopa, and check out the recently added Culture Passes.
Provided by the Act One organization, these Culture Passes, that you can check out, with your free Maricopa Library card, allow you and one other person access to sixteen museums and galleries, such as the Irish Culture Center. With access to one attraction a week and a total of two a month, you can experience the Cave Creek Museum, the Japanese Friendship Garden, or all sixteen completely free.
It doesn’t stop there! Act One, also distributes Performance Passes to several participating libraries, which vary month to month. Unlike the Culture Passes, these Performance Passes have a short shelf life, during the month of December the library handed out Nutcracker Performance Passes to interested Patrons. So the next time you have nothing to suggest for your three day weekend away from the campus, keep the Maricopa Library and their Culture and Performance Passes in mind.
