Color Run

Mark your February calendars in color! “The Third Annual 5K Copa Color Fun Run and Walk” will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, at Copper Sky Regional Park’s amphitheater. All participants are encouraged to bring out the entire family and take on this fun and vibrant 3.5 mile course around the fishing pond. Additionally, contests will be held on this especially colorful Saturday morning, the winners even being awarded with prizes.
Try and come out early, so that you can participate in the “Best 80’s Workout Costume Contest!” Judges will be rating all the participants and the most memorable 80’s outfit will be awarded an event prize.
How much does it cost to have this much fun? $20 per adult, $15 for youth between ages eleven to seventeen, $10 for children between ages seven and eleven, and FREE for kids six and under. With each purchase, you will also receive your very own color packet to throw at the start of the race, a head band, and of course your trusty race bib. If don’t sign up to this fun run train early you can always register on sight, otherwise, packet pickups will be announced via the Event Facebook page. Parking is free at Copper Sky Park, but you have yet to hear the best part – 5 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Maricopa Police Foundation – to support the amazing Maricopa police force! So come out, color up, and have some family fun!
