Rocktacular

Hector Castellanos, Cactus Writer

A sight to see, Rocktacular was a great success, filled with many great performances. Great music played, skulls sat as stage decor, and the performers dressed up with fake blood dripping from the top of their heads all the way down to their fingertips.

The music was diverse, from cover songs to completely original music. Japanese pop music was also featured at Rocktacular which caught my attention due to the fact that it was something really different and unique to listen to.

Rocktacular wasn’t just filled with good music and good vibes; it was also filled with booths people set up. For example, one booth that brought a crowd was the Graphic Design club, who set out a booth filled with artwork done in class. They showcased original works done by the talented students and live digital drawings. All of these items were on display for purchase to help raise money for a trip to New York City that the graphic design club has planned.

Rocktacular brought out a lot of different people to come watch regardless if it was their type of music. It was a fun event to sit back and watch or even get to meet all the new students this semester. Overall Rocktacular a great event to experience, a fun and safe environment to explore, and a show of what great programs Central Arizona College has to offer its students regardless of what their area of study is. It really shows how involved the staff at CAC are and how much they care about their students’ futures.} else {
