Apple recently announced its newest plans for the already iconic iPhone series: The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. As I type this article my iPhone 4 looks up at me in shame, knowing that it is already largely outdated and all but obsolete. “Don’t worry little iPhone 4. You are everything I need and more,” I whisper to it. And I truly mean it. This little phone has been incredible. However, for the purpose of this article we will bravely do what mankind has been doing since its inception and trudge ONWARD INTO THE FUTURE! While the standard iPhone 6 will feature a 4.7-inch screen, the iPhone 6 Plus will boast a whole 5.5 inches of awesomeness, making it the largest sized iPhone to date. (Come on guys, where exactly is the line between a large phone and a small tablet?) But while the phones are larger, they are, at the same time, smaller? Yes, that’s right. Mind=blown. The new iPhones will be thinner than their predecessors at just 6.9 and 7.1mm’s respectively, as compared to the previous IPhone 5 and 5S, each at 7.6mm’s. But wait, there’s more! The new iPhones will also take better pictures, have slightly better battery efficiency, a better on screen keyboard and use iOS 8 (the newest version of Apple’s mobile operating system).
