October Events at CAC

Exciting events are coming to CAC in October.
CAC Continental Breakfast:
From Oct. 4 to 5, CAC’s Signal Peak and Maricopa campuses will be offering continental breakfast from 8:30-11 a.m.
Blood Drives:
Phi Theta Kappa will be holding blood drives at the CAC’s Maricopa and San Tan campuses. The blood drives will be in the campus parking lots.
The Maricopa campus blood drive is on Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 12-4 p.m.
The San Tan campus blood drive is on Monday, Oct. 18, from 12-4 p.m.
Virtual Events:
Virtual Workshop
CAC is hosting a virtual workshop convention “A Strong Career Exploration,” on Tuesday, Oct. 12. Students can schedule sessions on the CAC website.
Under the “Academics” tab, click on “Advising.” Under “Helpful Resources” on the bottom right, go to “Student Workshops.” Students must register before the event.
Once registered, students will be sent an email with a “Strong Assessment.” The assessment will help students figure out what career they might want to pursue. 24 hours before their scheduled workshop, students will receive their assessment results.
There will be two meetings on Oct. 12. One meeting will start at 10 a.m. and another meeting will begin at 5 p.m.
Virtual University Transfer Fair
From Oct. 18 to 21, Arizona universities U of A, ASU, and NAU will provide guided pathway instruction virtually. Students can choose from several different university sessions.
An advisor will talk about the colleges, provide general information, and answer frequently asked questions.
CAC is offering important transfer updates to students who text “Yes” to 520-201-6802.

Performing Arts:
From Oct. 29 to 30, The Blackbox Foundation, a theatre company from Casa Grande, will be performing the musical, “Jekyll & Hyde” at the Pence Center on CAC’s Signal Peak campus.
There will be one show on Friday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m.
There will be two shows on Saturday, Oct. 30. The first show, a matinee, will begin at 2:00 p.m. The last performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.
